A Better Learning Experience

A major goal of my Chicago-area Python courses is to create a unique experience that is superior to anything that you might have previously encountered at work, online, at a conference, or a corporate training mill.

First and foremost, these are intense in-person classes where you are going to get your hands dirty. The small class size means that you're going to get personal attention, have questions answered, and have meaningful discussions with other professionals who want to be there. In fact, the dedicated time and group interaction is what makes these in-person courses so much more informative and enjoyable than any kind of online or virtual course.

Next, your comfort is also an important consideration. My courses are held in an unique vintage space located on the upper floor of the historic Calo Theater Building. The classroom is anything but corporate--featuring exposed brick, high ceilings, natural lighting and other amenities. If you step outside, you'll find yourself in the heart of Chicago's distinctive Andersonville neighborhood. Snacks come fresh from local bakeries and we go to local restaurants for meals. Needless to say, it's a bit better than being trapped in a hotel meeting room with a stale catering platter and a lukewarm coffee pot.

If you've never been to Chicago before, stay an extra day to visit some of our world-class museums, go to a jazz club, shop on the magnificant mile, or go on a neighborhood tour. There are countless possibilities. Andersonville is in the heart of the city, with easy access to everything.

Last, but not least, the Python courses that you see here are my singular focus. In addition to my public courses, I regularly teach these courses for on-site clients (past schedule). In fact, thousands of man-hours have gone into course development and refinement. Needless to say, there is a high attention to detail.
