The Academic Soundtrack - Live and in Person!!!

After many thousands of miles of driving, it occurs to me that nothing really beats a live performance of the whole academic soundtrack. Fortunately, it's nothing that a quick trip to Branson can't fix. I mean, what's not to like about Branson? Besides, while you're here, you can visit the Lawrence Welk Auditorium---or was it a superdome? Actually, I don't remember. Does it matter?

A few quick observations:

• Branson is a very very very scary place for singles.
• Magic and broadway showtunes do not mix.
• Don't even try to get a Martini here.
• Don't give anyone your phone number---they will keep calling you to come back.
