In search of a soundtrack...

Every good road-trip needs a groovy soundtrack. Personally, I
recommend loading up the iPod with some tunes from Jon Wayne,
Deadbolt, Dead Milkmen, and Art Blakey. However, I got to
thinking---what kind of music would best fit the whole academic trip?
Fortunately, the road always has an answer...

Oddly enough, the very nice woman giving tours of the Welk homestead
was from my hometown back in Colorado. I'm not exactly sure how she
ended up doing this... although maybe, just maybe, she was denied tenure.
